Postcard Exchange

The first postcard I received is from Desiree - using the negative painting technique - BEAUTIFUL - I am hand delivering mine to her tomorrow.

pjh-Looking for black bears on Prince William Island

We flew in a small sea plane out to Prince William Island - and found this momma and her cub. Our pilot was doing pylon turns around this peak several times to get a good look and a few pictures. There were also 4 sitka black tail deer on this peak.

Jellyfish

I took a class, "Watercolor on Yupo Paper", at the Laguna Beach Art-A-Fair yesterday.  Our watercolor painting was a Jellyfish.  The paper is so totally different than watercolor paper and it will take some practice manipulating the watercolors on Yupo.  It was different, but fun.

July's class was on negative painting, I touched on the when and where you might want to use negative painting and then we did this fun technique. It is easy and fun once you get it figured out in you mind. The video is available so you can do the technique as you follow my step by step instructions. See you guys on the 13th of August!!
