You don't have to always drag out your paints. Sometimes I love just taking my pencil and sketchbook outside at dusk to sketch. Here is a quick sketch I did of Chloe awhile back. It's not perfect or great but it's what was happening that day! I love to look at it and remember playing "where's your toy?!"
Next time try a pencil sketch.
